It features a drop-side rail that can be easily lifted to feed your child at night without disturbing them or getting out of the bed. This is perfect for mothers who breastfeed! It is also lightweight and easy to move around during naps or for travel.
We love that it's made of soft fabrics with breathable mesh sides that promote airflow and comfort. It is available in charcoal or oak and various melange fabrics that will blend with most decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure when attached to her bed with the legs firmly snapping into the bed and the zips secured to ensure safety for babies. It took her about 10 minutes to assemble it and did not require tools, and comes with clear instructions and a video or support number available if you encounter any issues.
In addition to the standard features you'd expect from a bedside crib, like being able to be connected to your existing bed with a stay-in place connection system and six levels of height The CoZee also comes with an additional incline option that can be used to help aid congestion or reflux in infants. It's also machine-washable, which is a essential feature for all the dribbles, vomit and snot that comes with having a newborn!
The CoZee is an excellent choice if you want to keep your child close during the first six months of acquiring the ability to sleep independently. It can be used as a cot, changing station and toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension kit, it can be converted into an crib. Although it can't magically make your baby sleep or feed them, it will rock them and send them off.

Our testers loved the ease of access offered by the side panel, which can be moved upwards and downwards with just a single push of a switch. This was a huge benefit during feeding times at night because it meant they could easily reach inside and pick up their baby without disturbing them up.
The side panel can be lifted by itself, too however it isn't advised as it increases the chance of your baby falling out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism ensures that it can only remain in place when it is attached to the bed properly. This is a great feature to have in place for peace of mind, particularly when you're breastfeeding and need frequent night feeds.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to work with any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers thanks to the legs that can be telescopic. It also comes with a tilting function for reflux babies and a rocking feature to bring them back to sleep after feeding. It's also incredibly spacious and offers excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.
The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our testers, despite the lengthy instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers, but it's fairly portable and can be moved from room to room easily. It's also small enough to fit in a travel bag when not in use, which is a bonus if you need to transport it. The only downside our testers noticed was that the side panel didn't flex like some of the other models, making it difficult to observe your child from your bed.
The Shnuggle Air
The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is a great choice for a crib that can grow with your child. It's a co-sleeping crib that can be attached securely to your bed and can be turned into a stylish cot when your baby is old enough. Ideal for feeding at night and strengthening your bond with your baby's new.
The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, not like other cribs. The dual-view mesh side panels and airflow mattress that is hypoallergenic and breathable maximize airflow and keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline option helps to ease reflux and colic while the zip down side makes it easy to feed or comfort your baby throughout the night.
The cot conversion kit (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you require to start. It took us about an hour to assemble and was fairly simple to put together. The only drawback to the instructions was that some images did not have captions. This made it difficult for us to follow the instructions. Overall, the procedure was simple and the materials used were of top quality.
The Shnuggle Air is a great choice for women who are breastfeeding or have had an e-csection. It lets them reach out and hold their baby to comfort them and feeding without having to leave their bed. It's also great for parents who wish to avoid the hassle of getting into and out of a traditional cot, or putting their baby down for a nap.
During our testing we observed the gliding motion of the next-to-me crib to be particularly helpful when it comes to helping babies fall asleep after feedings at midday and in the evening. The drop-down side is also easily accessed to feed or calm babies in the middle of the night, which was a real benefit for our exhausted test mothers. Although bedside cot bed doesn't rock, or come with extra features like a sound system, the Joie Roomie Slide's sleek design and functional features are a welcome addition to our top bedside crib reviews.
